The agricultural tourist farm "Collina S. Michele"
is situated in Vinchio in between the sweet hills of
Monferrato
and the Langhe, which are 350 m high.
The farm is just 25 Km from Asti and 35 Km from Alba and around
100 Km from Torino, in a connect position to all eventualities,
excursions, trips, outings, walking-tours, to visits castels and
churches around.
We welcome you to our typical Piemontese agricultural farm, recently
restored with its local traditional material.
The
hills around are cultivated; there are
Barbera and Moscato
wineyards of Asti and in the Autumn beyond the smell of the must
there is a delicate smell of white truffles which you can find on
this land in its natural habitat.
It is possible to find this precious tuber from September to December.
Another product of this land is the
asparagus saraceno which
gets his name from one of the hills situates around us, where for
traditional it began cultivation this vegetable with its intense
green very plump and compact.
Asparagus saraceno can be tasted on April to May.
First week-end of May there is "Festival of Asparagus"
and medioeval festival.
