Collina San Michele
The agricultural tourist farm "Collina S. Michele" is situated in Vinchio in between the sweet hills of Monferrato and the Langhe, at 350 m above sea level.
The farm is just 25 Km from Asti and 35 Km from Alba and around 100 Km from Torino, in a central, well-connected position for excursions and visits to the castles and churches nearby.
We welcome you to our typical Piemontese agricultural farm, recently restored with its local traditional material.
The hills around are cultivated; there are Barbera and Moscato vineyards of Asti and in the Autumn beyond the smell of the must there is a delicate smell of white truffles which you can find on this land in its natural habitat.
It is possible to find this precious tuber from September to December.
Another product of this land is the asparagus saraceno which gets its name from one of the hills situates around us, where it was traditionally first grown: a vegetable of intense green colour, plump and compact.
Asparagus saraceno can be tasted from April to May.
First week-end of May there is "Festival of Asparagus" and medieval festival.
A homely friendly reception in the two little dining rooms will allow you to taste dishes typical of the Piedmontese traditional cuisine.
Refined and genuine
Our cellar is an authentic example dating from around 1890. You'll find yourself in an ancient atmosphere. You can also taste and buy our Barbera and Moscato wine.
The new swimming-pool of Agriturismo San Michele, is situated in a sunny position, you will enjoy the spectacular view; it is 6 metres wide and 12 metres long, with a depth from 1,20 to 1,60 meters.
There is a garden with umbrellas and deck-chairs.
The swimming pool will be open from 20 May to 10 October.
During Spring and Summer it will be possible to enjoy your meals on the terrace enjoying the view and see wonderful sunsets.
Ideal for relax and contact with nature, a healthy walk in a natural reserve area of "Val Sarmassa" with a path to the Blue Lake hoping to meet a squirrel or a woodpecker.
The Agriturismo has some bikes for you, for possible trips among the hills. For horse lovers, we are in contact with several riding stables in the area.
Barbera d'Asti
It is very pleasant to taste during meals. With its ruby colour and its characteristic smell and dry taste.

Barbera d'Asti "Vigna del Baffo"
Aged in oak barriques, with a lovely garnet colour. Its smell has the tendency of ethereal and it has a very pleasant harmonic taste. It's a wine suitable for first and second course meals with red meat.
